Lying north of chame on legendary Annapurna circuit, Nar Phu valley is easily missed only a few travellers get to see the untouched beauty of Nar and Phu. From the hustle & bustle of kathmandu to the magnificent slopes of Annapurna massif, you’ll trace the footsteps of many trekkers who have been drawn to these mountains for decades.

Touching the border of Tibet, It is a world of wild, unspoiled Himalayan landscapes and ancient ways of life. This is a road of incredible mountains, high passes, enormous glaciers, small canyons and lush forests.

In the last couple of centuries, life for Nepali Tibetans living in these valleys has changed little. Trekking through these lively, remote villages and visiting ancient Buddhist monasteries, Narphu Valley is a timeless wonder you need to see once in a lifetime.

Arrival on:Kathmandu, Nepal

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Activities:

  • TIA to Kathmandu city, pickup
  • Kathmandu hotel check-in
  • Trek preparation & meet-up with guide
  • Collect all trekking permits & registration at one place
  • Local souvenir

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Activities:

  • Visit UNESCO World heritage site- Boudhanath Pashupatinath, the monkey temple Swayambhunath
  • Explore city streets & traditional crafts such as pottery and weaving.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat

Activities:

  • Drive towards pokhara for jagat
  • Stop at Mugling For Lunch
  • Pass through small town of Dumre, beside the Marsyangdi River.
  • Cross the river on a long suspension bridge at Syange to reach Jagat

Day 4: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani via Chamje

Activities:

  • Start a steady climb to Chamje
  • Descend to cross the river on a suspension bridge
  • Short Climb to Buddhist region of Manang
  • Explore the village of Tal
  • Crosses the river again walk till you reach Dharapani

Day 5: Trek to Koto

Activities:

  • Hike to the interesting Buddhist village of Bagar Chap towards west
  • Stunning Views Of Manaslu & Annapunrna II
  • Pass through the section of village trail
  • Pass through scattered pine forest & several stone steps

Day 6: Trek from Koto to Meta

Activities:

  • Head up the narrower and steeper gorge of the Naar Phu Khola
  • Pass by beautiful woods and various temporary villages
  • Make our way up to restricted valley
  • Navigate up & down till meta

Day 7: Trek beside Phu Khola to Chyako

Activities:

  • Follow the Phu Khola, uphill trail
  • Ascend to the temporary Khampa village of Chyako
  • Take a steep climb 'Upper Chyako' &  Kyang
  • Pass Through long mani wall at 3800 metres

Day 8: Trek to the main settlement of Phu

Activities:

  • Start with exciting trail carved into the walls of the river gorge
  • Pass via several mani walls and chortens, to reach the Phuohi Yalgoe or 'Phu Gate'
  • Witness 3 villages of Phu
  • Climb to the village of Phu (4080m)

Elevation: 4080m

Day 9: Trek back to Phu Khola

Activities:

  • Return to the Phu Gate
  • Retrace our steps down the valley
  • Stop for lunch At Kyang and
  • Descend to Muje (3720m) below Chyako.

Day 10: Trek to Naar Khola and Naar Village

Activities:

  • Descend to a bridge across the river at Naar Phedi
  • Climb till the village of Naar through narrow george
  • Mesmerizing view of Mountains
  • Beautiful  mustard and barley fields along the way
  • Climb to the line of prayer flags on the hill

Day 11: Trek to the meadows of Kangla Phedi

Activities:

  • Pass through ancient moraines
  • Witness yak grazing meadows of Kangla Phedi

Elevation: 4530m

Day 12: : Cross the Kang La (5306m) and steep descent to Ngawal

Activities:

  • Walk all the way up to the summit of the Kangla Pass.
  • Views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak

Day 13: Descend to the Annapurna Circuit Trail and follow route Chame to Koto

Activities :

  • Take a contour trail with superb views of the Annapurna peaks
  • Descend to Pisang & meet annapurna circuit trail
  • See the dramatic spectacle of the Paungda Danda

Day 14: Descend alongside Marsyangdi River, through Dharapani & Tal (1700m).

Activities :

  • Retrace your steps to Naar-Phu Khola
  • Descend alongside the Marsyangdi River Valley
  • Reach tal for overnight stay

Day 15: Drive Back To Kathmandu

  • Drive to  Kathmandu
